We often live as if we are at war with the world, but the real conflict is far more intimate. We struggle with the mental madness we have created around the idea of “I.” We try to hold on, we try to let go, and we exhaust ourselves trying to escape the cycle of suffering to reach a distant peace.
But the universe doesn’t need your struggle; it needs your realization. Do not unnecessarily affect the rhythm of the universe. You are not a separate island; we are all one, flowing within the same human rhythm.
The Illusion of the Seeker
The day you understand who you really are, the weight of the world drops away. You will realize a truth that is both shocking and liberating: Everything you think you are—including the “self” you are trying to save—is a complete illusion.
At that moment, the search ends. It becomes impossible to point to “someone” who has arrived or “someone” who has left. When a person reaches this state, they are finally free from themselves. The one who was waiting for liberation vanishes, and only wisdom remains. The ultimate secret of the wise is this: They are here, but they know they will never truly be “here” as a separate entity.
Defining the Path: From Self to Stillness
To understand your journey, you must redefine the terms of your struggle:
- The Cycle of Suffering (Samsara): This is simply the extent to which you have descended into the false center of “I.” It is the gravity of your own ego pulling you into the drama of “me” and “mine.”
- The Great Peace (Nibbana): This is the realization of the universal non-existence of the “I.” it is the moment you see through the illusion of your own individual consciousness and achieve the ultimate liberation: liberation from yourself.
Breaking the Bondage of Effort
Stop trying to achieve a state that is already your nature. You are currently trapped in the “mental madness” of building a stable identity in a world of shifting sands.
- Stop “doing” spirituality: Start observing the one who thinks they are doing it.
- Recognize the Mirage: See your personal story as a film projected on a screen. The screen is real; the movie is just light and shadow.
- Surrender the “I”: When you stop defending your ego, the universe stops being an enemy.
When the idea of the “individual” dissolves, the universal remains. You no longer need to find the truth; you simply stop ignoring it.
