Beyond the Illusion of Self
By gimharawp • 6 Min Read
Reality vibrates within you, yet you are not truly there. Illusion vibrates within you, yet you are absent from that as well. The ultimate truth is recognizing the reality of the illusion, and profound wisdom lies in understanding the natural rhythm of our existence.
If you are seeking genuine inner peace, you must look beyond the surface of your individual experience and explore the deeper nature of the mind.
1 The Interconnected Web of Consciousness
The unconscious root of every human being is deeply interconnected. It is through this invisible network that collective evolution happens. No single life, root, or existence stands alone with its own isolated strength. There is no solitary journey or isolated rhythm. The reality of human existence is co-created in one shared space.
- Consciousness is not individual: The element of consciousness that perceives and creates reality operates in unity with the whole. The underlying mechanism of the universe is identical for everyone.
- The Shared Mechanism: We are part of a massive, synchronized unfolding. To view yourself as entirely separate from the world around you is the fundamental illusion.
2 The Dissolution of the Ego
The moment you truly understand who you are, you awaken to the reality and the rhythm of the universe. When this happens, a profound shift occurs: all your problems dissolve.
Why? Because the root cause of all psychological suffering—the "self" or the ego—disappears. The rhythm of this universe extends far beyond the limitations of your mind. You can never fully comprehend, imagine, or perceive it if you rely strictly on the limits of your physical senses. Mindfulness allows us to observe these limits without being trapped by them.
"Time and space are just a perception. The universe, its seasons, and its consequences are simply the unfolding of a grander rhythm."
3 The Illusion of Time, Space, and Emotion
The entire flow of what we call "life" is a perceptible illusion.
- The Paradox of Time: This unfolding is happening now, yet it is not happening now. It does not exist strictly in the future, the past, or even the present. Time and space are merely constructs of human perception.
- The Origin of Feelings: All the emotions that arise within you are original, guiding feelings designed for the present moment. However, their true root is not inside "you." They belong to the broader rhythm of nature.
Finding Nibbana Through Surrender
You have never truly belonged to yourself. We are temporary expressions of a universal rhythm.
It is only when we finally realize this—when we let go of the attachment to the individual self and understand the true nature of the mind—that we achieve ultimate liberation. In that realization, you attain Nibbana, peacefully passing beyond the illusion entirely.
